The second Eckhaus Latta storefront reuses many of the fixtures from the Hollywood location, and puts more emphasis on open space and flexibility over time. Instead of a solid wall dividing store from studio, there is a large stretched canvas and dividing curtain. The dressing room too is constructed from a hanging fabric tube. The curving rack from Hollywood was split in two and reconfigured to stand on concrete feet. To counteract the gallery whiteness of the space, a fat painted baseboard is added around the perimeter. A collection of books for each season and weekly flowers add to the comfort and airy beauty of the store.
